  • The curriculum for chiropractic school includes a minimum of 4,200 hours of classroom, laboratory and clinical experience (this is after an undergraduate degree has already been earned).

  • The educational program includes training in the basic medical sciences, including anatomy with human dissection, physiology, biochemistry, endocrinology, differential diagnosis, radiology, and therapeutic techniques. This means, a doctor of chiropractic can diagnose and either treat or refer patients to an appropriate specialist, making them a portal of entry doctor.
